This presentation is a non-technical look at the benefits of threat intelligence and the challenges that organizations face when attempting to utilize and operationalize threat intelligence within their infrastructure. Existing resources (human and infrastructure), security tools, the difference between threat data sources and cybersecurity program maturity are just a few of the areas we will look at during this presentation. We will also discuss the reasons why threat data is considered a required source of input data for many departments within the organization.
