The Intelligence discipline has defined processes, analytical techniques, and procedures, but they are not only for Intel teams. The analytical techniques that have been cultivated, refined, and tested within the Intelligence cycle have been used for operational use to make teams more successful since they are adaptable. For example, Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs), are long thought to only be used and defined within Intel teams, but that should not be the case. The idea behind PIRs is to inform leadership of what is important. This talk will showcase how to create PIRs, discuss how to inform leadership when a PIR is triggered and lastly explain why they can benefit your organization.
