Dave Millier has created a novel new approach that leverages well known information security frameworks and Chubb’s Cyber COPE®, a well-established property insurance measurement methodology that has been adapted to cyber risks. In this talk, Dave will present his methodology, including various ways of gathering the information and reporting on the results, providing the audience with insight into a valuable approach to measuring their risks from an insurance industry perspective. Dave will be joined by Matthew Davies, VP and Product Manager for Professional, Media and Cyber Liability at Chubb, to provide insight on cyber insurance, the Cyber COPE® model and how it can benefit the audience attendees as well as businesses in general. Matthew and Dave’s approach helps attendees better communicate their cybersecurity posture to an insurance broker or underwriter in a language that the insurance industry understands, while also giving them insights into things they should be doing (if they aren’t already) to more effectively protect their enterprises.
